1. What is your denominational background?
I had the privilege of being raised in a community of missionaries in Korea . These missionaries came from a variety of different denominations -- evangelical, charismatic, liberal, fundamentalist, dispensational, reformed , etc . They were some of the most learned doctors, professors, teachers, ministers, and missionaries with many different spiritual backgrounds. But because they were there to serve the Korean community, the denominational walls came down. Yes, they differed, and there were heated discussions. However, Sunday mornings we worshipped together according to whoever had the service for that day.
I believe in the whole of the Bible. I value the wisdom of my parents’ faith that taught me to respect all aspects of Christianity and to pursue unity in Jesus by challenging people to step beyond the boundaries of denomination. By being exposed to so many diverse yet wonderful missionaries, I see the health and vibrancy in embracing as a whole the traditions and truth of the one church of God , bought by the blood of His son, Jesus Christ.
2. How would you describe your personal walk with the Lord?
I desire to walk in the truth of God's Word and walk in the power of his Holy Spirit. I want to love Jesus with all my mind and soul. I want to know Him intimately and experience Him each and every moment of my life. I want to walk broken, knowing I am nothing apart from God, but victorious because I know I am a bride that has been kissed by her bridegroom.
3. What are you most passionate about in your ministry?
My desire is to empower people to personally seek Jesus with all their heart and soul. God has called me to be His instrument to instruct people to walk transparently before Him, with all defenses down, trusting God to heal, deliver, save, transform, and renew their lives so they may live free from the shame and guilt that comes from the lies of the enemy. My call from the Lord is to bring what He has done for me so liberally to others. Our hope rests in the fact that God is the same today as He was in Bible days. His power and salvation are for all who ask and surrender.
4. What is your heart for the body of Christ and for the world?
My prayer is that the body of Christ would come back to God's original plan for her, that she would walk closely with Him, know Him fully, and realize the power of the Holy Spirit that abides in each one of us. My hope for the world is that Jesus would be center of each person's life.
